Grateful to have been selected for the 27th Gregorio Prieto Drawing Competition. It was a true pleasure to share the Encounters and Awards Ceremony last Saturday with such incredible artists.
Following its presentation in Valdepeñas, the exhibition can now be visited in Madrid from 29 January to 22 February 2026 at the Centro Cultural Casa de Vacas, in Madrid’s Retiro Park. A digital catalogue featuring the selected and awarded works is available for download on this website.
The exhibition XXVII Gregorio Prieto Drawing Prize is presented in Madrid at the Centro Cultural Casa de Vacas, featuring a selection of works that confirm the long-standing trajectory of this competition as one of Spain’s leading references in contemporary drawing.
Founded in 1991, the Gregorio Prieto Drawing Prize has become the most prestigious national award dedicated to this discipline. In its twenty-seventh edition, 819 works by 559 artists were submitted, from which the jury selected 43 pieces that reflect the diversity, technical excellence, and conceptual richness of current drawing practices
